Studying at the Department of History
History is a multifaceted and colourful subject that offers exciting insights into different eras, regions and cultures. Studying history means curiously and critically following the traces of the past, classifying and interpreting them. The study programme enables students to deal with the past independently and to examine the development of man as a social and acting being in the course of time.
The IGW offers 6 study combinations in the B.A. and M.A. fields as well as doctoral studies . On this page you will find information about the study options as well as further information about the study programme.
