Basis
BASIS is the central campus management system of the University of Bonn. Your entire study organisation runs via the system. You can find the university's course catalogue there and use your study account to register for courses and exams electronically. It is therefore important to familiarise yourself with the system at the beginning of your studies. If you have any questions or difficulties, please read the notes and FAQs carefully first and then contact the Student Advisory Service if necessary.
Guidelines for module examinations and theses
The modules usually end with an examination, in some cases with partial examinations. The prerequisite for completing the modules or for registering for the final module examination is the academic performance to be achieved in the courses, such as presentations, exercises or protocols.
Certain procedural rules must be observed for the registration of term papers as well as final theses in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Please read the guidelines/handouts provided.
